On Sunday I started getting this really, really bad stomach pain. It started at around 7:30 pm and just got worse and worse. Shortly after I began throwing up like crazy. By 1am I just couldn't take it anymore and had to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital (yeah, it got that bad-- I could barely walk!). So I got to the hospital (with my mom), waited forever for someone to see me (despite me, y'know, pretty much crying in pain), they did some tests and scans, etc, and found a shitload of gallstones in my stomach. Like, that many. Before I could pass out from pain (or vomiting, or fever >.<") they admitted me. Yesterday morning I had the surgery to remove my gallbladder (fairly simple procedure, but let me just say that the aftereffect hurts like hell). I just got home and decided to clue my beloved f-list in before I took a nap. 

So yeah. My first (and hopefully last) surgery. At 19. Not something I'd ever like to experience again. A lesson, folks? Take care to eat well. Really. It's so, so important. Gallstones are serious business. Imagine something eating at you from the inside. That's what it feels like. And the surgery? Like someone stabbed you with pencils and left them there. It's just not worth it. 

I doubt I'll be eating fast food again for a long, long time.

This world would be a much better place if people would just learn to open their hearts and minds and treat people with the same kindness and compassion they'd like to be treated with. Stuff like religion, sexuality, race, and so on, shouldn't matter. What this world needs right now is less people spreading hate and violence and intolerance, and more people being compassionate, kind, and considerate to others. I know it's an idealistic thought, and probably an unrealistic dream, but it's what I believe.

So in the spur of the moment, let me say right now that I Love You F-list. It doesn't matter that I don't know you in RL, or even that we'll probably never meet. I just love you guys, okay? And I wish you all the happiness in the world. (this reaches out to everyone not on my F-list, too.)

*Sighs* Now let me go to bed. It's 3:35 a.m (EST) and I'm about ready to pass out. If, when I wake up, I find that this this post is entirely too humiliating, well... at least I can blame it on the sleep deprivation, right?

Gah. I need something to kick-start my brain, which seems to have shut down for some reason. So, if someone on my F-list would be so kind as to give me a prompt or two, I would really appreciate it. 

I'd like a prompt for Merlin/Arthur and Harry/Draco. Any genre, rating, setting/universe, scenario, kink, etc. Give me a prompt, and I'll write you a ficlet. I'll also love you forever.

 I just spent $25 on two 10oz bottles of the stuff and am really regretting it. I've been dying to get my hands on the stuff for ages (like, all the reviews I read about it praised the thing), and finally decided to order it two weeks ago. It came in the mail yesterday and I'm hating myself for ripping the box open.

Pros: Smells wonderful and leaves a cool, tingly sensation on your scalp after rinsing that makes your head feel clean and wonderful.
Cons: Dries up your hair like crazy. Like, I have knots.

I'm going to continue using the shampoo, but I'll be using another conditioner, I think. *Sighs* I think it's just my hair type, to be honest. It's very coarse, so not all shampoos and conditioners work well for me. I'm 19 and I still haven't found one that I really, really love. It's aggravating.

 My heater is broken (won't shut off) and I am BOILING. It's rather hilarious when you consider the fact that there's snow outside. I mean, I woke up with a HEAT RASH and it's like 30d-F. Jeez. 

I'm currently working on my first ever HP Fanmix and OMG it's so much work. But it's also Epic and I can't wait to finish it up and post it. I've been really working away at it (since it's school break) and I hope I get it at least 80% finished by Friday. 

On to other news.... CLOIS. I just started re-watching Smallville and Lois just arrived and OMG I AM IN LOVE WITH HER. Like, I want to have her babies. Normally girl's don't get me so excited (I'm pretty straight), but Lois is just so awesome. I can't remember the last time I shipped a Het pair so hard. Her and Clark are perfect. They bicker and tease each other and they're both strong and funny  and...and...and... GUHMOTHERFUCKINGGUH. I mean, the woman brings out Clark's SARCASTIC side. Sarcastic, cocky!Clark is just about the BEST THING EVER. 

Do you think the name "Clois" for a baby sounds weird? (LOL -- JKJK)

ETA: Er, getting off topic, but GOD Clark can be such a hypocrite at times. I mean, he's all like "There's a side of you I don't even know, Lex. What else don't I know about you?" WHEN HE'S BEEN LYING TO THE MAN THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE FRIENDSHIP. Sometimes I wish he would just get off his high horse and see how hypocritical he's being. He hates when other people hide things from him, but he does it all the time! Lois needs to come back and knock some sense into the bastard.

 So I just started watching S3 of Merlin. My thoughts so far (up to ep 7) :

...Would They Call It "Cream Of Tartar" When It's A Powder?

I really, really, really wanted to make Homemade Fudge (from the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook) today. I didn't have any of the ingredients listed, but after asking around found out that all of them were easy to come by. 

Lies. I couldn't find that damn CoT anywhere.

Some other disappointing news is that I still have four more people to shop for *grabs hair* Why, oh why, did I procrastinate this year?  Now I'm going to have to buy the gifts on hand since I can't shop online and get everything before Xmas (unless I choose some kind of "1-day shipping" option, but I'm too cheap to spit out the extra cash). We went shopping today, and I'm going to have to go again tomorrow. And maybe Monday, if I can't find what I'm looking for at the mall. 

*SIGHS* 

On a happy note, I'm already about 40% into my hp_kinkfest assignment (though that might change as the fic might get longer)! I'm really enjoying it. I also want to claim another prompt (for art), but I have time. 

On a less happy note (and still regarding hp_kinkfest ), none of my prompts have been claimed yet. I'm hoping at least one of them will be >.<" I suppose that's what happens, though, when there's an option of over 400 prompts <3
